Overview

A collection of AR and XR prototypes developed independently and as part of the MA in Virtual and Augmented Reality at Goldsmiths. The work spans mobile AR applications, interactive book experiences and Snapchat lens development - each project exploring a different approach to spatial interaction and audience engagement through augmented reality.

AR Art

Personal prototype · Unity 3D, C#, Maya, Photoshop, Illustrator · 2022

An augmented reality application designed to make gallery paintings interactive for younger audiences. Built in Unity 3D with C#, the app overlays animated digital layers onto physical artworks, allowing users to explore the paintings and learn about the works and artists through immersive interaction. Assets were produced in Photoshop, Illustrator and Maya.

Animal Portal

University project · MA Virtual & Augmented Reality, Goldsmiths · Unity, C#, Maya, Photoshop · Nov 2021

An AR reading experience developed around Dieter Braun's Animals of the South. Scanning pages of the book with a mobile device reveals 3D animals modelled and hand-painted in Maya, accompanied by habitat information, ambient sound design and particle animation. The project was developed as part of the MA in Virtual and Augmented Reality at Goldsmiths.

AR Exhibition

Personal prototype · Lens Studio (JavaScript), Maya, Gravity Sketch, Photoshop, Substance Painter · Nov 2023

An AR exhibition developed around the paintings of artist Jade Krym, delivered as four Snapchat lenses. Each lens was designed to present one of Krym's works through a distinct mode of augmented interaction - from layered animation to touch-responsive elements. The lenses were built in Lens Studio using JavaScript, with 3D assets modelled in Maya and Gravity Sketch (VR) and textured in Photoshop and Substance Painter.
